Global Indian International School, India has tied up with The NIIT Mind Champions Academy which is a joint venture between NIIT and Viswanathan Anand. This academy promotes the game of chess in schools.

At GIIS Indore a training on Chess was conducted by Ms. Shraddha Das, from NIITs Mind Champions Academy. This was attended by two coordinators Ms. Neeta Parmar and Mr. Abdul Rashid Khan.

Thirteen computers were upgraded with new softwares on Chess. Use of animations and videos related to chess will be used as an effective medium for teaching the game of Chess. Children were introduced to the game through this program and will be intensively trained to become lead Champions of GIIS Indore.
