Fantastic results for GIIS in CBSE exams

GIIS students of the 2021 batch secured fantastic results in their CBSE 10th and 12th examinations.

GIIS campuses around the world saw a tremendous increase in the school and subject averages with respect to last year’s results. The number of overall and subject toppers have also spiked in comparison to last year’s numbers.

The CBSE 10th Toppers are Anshika Uppal and Anushri Bhattacharya with 98.8%, and the CBSE 12th Toppers are Devansh Shah with 99% in the Science stream and Rashmi with 98.2% in the Commerce stream. The toppers mentioned are from the GIIS SMART Campus.

Noida, Ahmedabad, Whitefield-Bangalore, Pune, Malaysia, Tokyo and Abu Dhabi students also had fantastic marks.

Noida student Aditya Chandra topped the CBSE 12th exams with 95.4%. At the Ahmedabad campus, the CBSE 12th Toppers are Harshit Chicholikar and Khushi Gupta with 95.6%. The CBSE 10th Topper at Whitefield is Niyathi Ijjapureddy with 97 % while the CBSE 12th Toppers are Zaiba Sadat Kanekal with 93.4%(Science stream), Harini Sri R with 89.8%(Commerce stream) and Anubhi Saxena with 91.6%(Humanities stream). The Pune campus was topped by Aayushi Sanadhya in CBSE 10th with 95.6%.

The CBSE 12th Topper at Malaysia is Ritapravo Sarkar with 96.8%. In Abu Dhabi, Fida Mohammed topped the CBSE 10th exams with 95.6% marks while the CBSE 12th Toppers are Akhil Ambalapurath Ajith with 96.6%(Science stream) and Arun Nachiappan Muruganandam with 93.4%(Commerce stream). At the Tokyo campus, Keertana Ramanujam topped the CBSE 10th exams with 98.4% and Madhumila Killamsetty topped the CBSE 12th exams with 95%.

The school averages were 88.8% and 91.6% for CBSE 10th and 12th respectively at the SMART Campus, 88.52% in Malaysia, 82.3% and 81.48% in Whitefield, 79.52% in Ahmedabad, 83.54% in Noida, 92.2% and 92.8% at the Tokyo campus and lastly, 81.3% in Abu Dhabi.

Speaking on the collective achievements of the cohort, Dy COO Rajeev Katyal said, “It’s a proud moment for all the GIIS schools across the globe. The students have performed exceptionally well, and I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all of them. Our students have made themselves as well as us proud with their soaring scores.

Mr. Katyal also acknowledged the dedication and efforts put in by the students and teachers during these uncertain times. “Their achievement of passing with flying colours has exhibited their resilience and persistence, even through these tough times. I would also like to applaud and thank the teachers whose hard work and support has definitely paid off.”

GIIS schools have always been known to consistently produce toppers. Each year, its students do exceedingly well in CBSE, which has been a strong pedagogy taught across the schools, including the Singapore, India, Malaysia, Abu Dhabi as well as Tokyo campuses. The curriculum is a mix of 21st-century education and skill-based holistic development which makes our students around the world, global citizens.
