With immense pleasure, we would like to announce that our student Yashasvi Saxena of Class 4B has recently won the Dancing Juniors category at Superstars Singapore - a dancing competition on the Zee TV network. 

Yashasvi is a young budding star who has not only embraced the beautiful art form of dance but also achieved accolades in doing so. 

9-year-old Yashasvi started dancing just two years ago, but her talent and determination were high enough to get her an opportunity to participate in the dancing competition. Her nuanced moves and great sense of timing got her the coveted crown beating many other competitors eyeing for the top prize. 

She portrayed her dancing skills in Bollywood and hip-hop style which is her forte. There were 2 rounds she had to clear before the finals. The two rounds were conducted virtually where she submitted her dance video to the organisers and the finale was conducted on stage which was later telecasted on Zee TV APAC. 

She had even less than 10 days to prepare for each round but she showed immense hard work and dedication which paved her way to the top and be the ultimate winner. 

Her parents Swapnil Disha and Devanshu Saxena supported her throughout her journey and are extremely proud of their daughter. And not to miss out on the teachers of GIIS EC who are also very proud of her achievements.
