GIIS East Coast held Model United Nations (MUN) conference virtually on 28th May 2020. With 77 student delegates participating in the virtual event, it was a huge success. The topic for MUN this year was COVID-19 and the measures taken to battle the spread of the dreaded coronavirus.
Instituted to educate students about public speaking, debate, diplomacy, problem-solving, and teamwork, the MUN is an annual affair at GIIS. However, due to the pandemic, it was the first time that the event was held virtually.
