GIIS East Coast Campus organised Annual Day 2022 on November 19, 2022, which saw enthusiastic participation of students from kindergarten to Grade 9. The theme for this year’s Annual Day was Space Odyssey and several performances were organised in line with it.

The event commenced with words of wisdom shared by Chief Guest Dr Rahul Karyappa, Scientist at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering, A*STAR, and Mr CVK Sastry, Principal, GIIS East Coast. 

The first performance was a graceful classical dance to welcome the audience, accompanied by the school choir harmonising with a traditional tune. Another highlight of the event was a musical in which students exhibited great energy and talent.

The dancers illuminated the stage with their performances at each moment, full of vigour and energy. The event concluded with a grand finale, as the performers danced to the popular song ‘A Million Dreams’ from the movie Greatest Showman.

It was a fun-filled day for the students as they participated in the performances wholeheartedly. Events like these at GIIS depict how the school encourages its students to explore their talent in different areas and grow beyond classroom learning.
