The Global School Awards 2020-21, conducted by the GIIS East Coast campus, was held on the 7th of May 2021 at the school auditorium.

The awards honour students who have performed exceptionally well in academics as well as in sports and co-curricular activities such as Performing Arts and literary skills for the academic year 2020-21, for classes 5-9.

The various awards given away were Justice CS Dharmadhikari GIIS award for co-curricular excellence, Chandrakant Borde GIIS award for sports excellence, Subject proficiency awards, Prof MGK Menon GIIS award for academic proficiency, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam GIIS award for Academic proficiency and the GSF President’s award for all-round excellence.

The awards were presented to the deserving students by the head of the school Mr CVK Sastry, Mr Rathin Khandhadia, the director of the Global School of Excellence, Ms Pooja Dogra, the academic coordinator of the GIIS EC campus and Ms Odaia Ranido, the PYP coordinator for the GIIS-EC campus.

The event was telecasted live on Facebook with the proud parents and teachers in large numbers, encouraging their children and students.

The event was a huge success with happy students, teachers and parents applauding the efforts of the awardees with resounding claps.
