GIIS East Coast recognises students’ excellence at Global School Award 2023

East Coast Campus marked its annual Global School Awards on April 26 recognising the outstanding achievements of the students in the field of academic and beyond. The event was graced by parents, students, and esteemed members of the school management team.

 

The event awarded students from Grades 4 to 9 for their exemplary performance in academics, co-curricular activities, sports, and all-around excellence. Over 125 trophies were presented to 63 awardees at this year's GSA.

 

The event began with the school choir singing the Sarva Dharma Prayer, followed by the award ceremony. Students who excelled in the field of sports and co-curricular activities were awarded the Chandrakant Borde Award and Justice CS Dharmadhikari Award, respectively. The dance troupe of GIIS East Coast Campus then performed a graceful classical dance, earning thunderous applause from the audience.

 

Academic Awards followed, with the Subject Proficiency Award given to students who achieved the maximum marks in a particular subject. The APJ Abdul Kalam trophy was presented to deserving students who secured the top three places in their respective grades. The prestigious GSF Presidents Awards recognized students who excelled in all-around achievements.

 

The much-awaited GSA event generated a high level of excitement and a sense of accomplishment among the students. The event exemplifies the school’s commitment to providing students with platforms within and outside of the classrooms helping them groom as future leaders.
