On April 21, the students of GIIS East Coast Campus came together to celebrate Earth Day through a number of engaging activities. The campus was adorned in various shades of green as both students and teachers joined in on the festivities.

The day was filled with numerous exciting activities, including nature walks around the school, creating posters and banners, solving Earth Day-themed crossword puzzles, and making slogans. The students from Class 7 and 8 were given an opportunity to recycle and redesign old waste materials into something new and useful. Additionally, they wrote acrostic poems and presented them in front of their peers and teachers.

The students from Classes 9 and 10 showcased their knowledge of Hydroponic plants in both visual and written form. They created pamphlets about the plants and prepared articles with illustrations about nature and the environment. The students demonstrated their talents and creativity while honoring Mother Earth under the guidance of their teachers. 

Such events at GIIS provide a platform for students to explore their abilities and grow holistically outside the classroom. They also help students develop a deeper understanding of the environment and the importance of preserving it.
