Global Indian International School, East Coast campus celebrated Science Week from 03 to 07 May 2021, to honour the role of science and technology in the modern-day lives of earthlings. Science helps us to satisfy the natural curiosity with which we are all born. It helps us to learn about important topics such as our health, the environment, as well as natural phenomena that occur on our planet.

A plethora of activities were organized on this occasion and was showcased during the week. 

The Science Week started with the testing of the knowledgeable skills of students through a Science Quiz organized for levels 2-9 in which clues based on scientific principles and logical aptitude had to be chased in minimum time. The young scientists from all grades curiously participated in the Quiz and tried their best to score to their maximum potential. 

This was followed by an exhibition cum display of various science activities in the field of biology, physics and chemistry in the respective labs. The students of each class visited the labs in groups and were given hands-on exposure to these activities. A short questionnaire was prepared by teachers for each activity being conducted in the labs to test and check the understanding of the students. The young enthusiasts explored the world of creative learning by performing various experiments in different fields of science in the presence of their fellow mates. 

Overall, Science Week was successful in bringing to the fore the potential abilities of students and encouraging them to explore the different aspects of science around them. It was a huge success and was appreciated and enjoyed by all.
