GIIS East Coast campus marked the Science Week with a week-long celebration between 9-13 May 2022, fostering a love for science among its students. As part of the celebration, a plethora of activities such as T-shirt painting, model making, quiz, science experiment, and show and tell were organised for the students from Grades 3 to 10.

As part of the Science quiz, the knowledge and aptitude of the students were put to test. For the T-shirt painting competition, the students got to explore their creative expertise as they created interesting designs on T-shirts based on different science topics. They also participated in model-making and science experiment competitions which gave them the opportunity to explore the world of creative learning by performing various experiments in different fields of science in the presence of their classmates.

The winners were awarded e-certificates for each competition. Overall, the Science Week was successful in bringing to the fore the potential abilities of students and encouraging them to explore the different aspects of science around them.

GIIS is committed to the holistic development of its students. By taking initiatives like this, the school engages and inspires its students to take an active part in their learning journey so that they get in-depth knowledge and understanding of every language and become well-rounded citizens.
