The young patriots of KG II GIIS, Dubai celebrated the 72nd  Republic Day of India, the day on which the Indian Constitution came into effect. Celebrating such national events instills love and pride for the country within the children and Kindergarten, Dubai took it as an opportunity to teach its little ones the significance of this very special day. The team believes that teaching the importance of such national events at a very early stage will mold the children into responsible citizens and the perfect future leaders of the country.

The event witnessed several activities. Children were dressed in the colors of Indian National Flag. The team had a special assembly which was embraced with the little patriots singing the Indian National Anthem, their speech about ‘Republic Day’ and ‘Indian Constitution’. The event witnessed some culinary activities in which children made tricolor sandwiches and showcased their creativity in making the Indian Flag with different craft materials.

Like every event that is celebrated within the Kindergarten, the Republic day celebrations also contributed to the holistic development of children. The team believes that celebrating such events always creates a platform for the young minds to understand their country and its values.
