A special assembly was conducted on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's birthday in October 2018, in an effort to reinforce his values of individual and community cleanliness into students.  

Students made the assembly an event to remember, by rendering soulful melodies on the Mahatma's life. They came dressed in costumers as freedom fighters and community leaders. Students were given an overview into the life and times of Mahatma Gandhi and were encouraged to think about the sacrifices made by all the freedom fighters during the struggle against British. They were encouraged to analyse the importance of freedom and understand its value. 

The students of Grade 6 quizzed the school on various contributions made by Bapu to India’s freedom struggle. Students were given an account on how he led our nation in the fight for freedom and sacrificed his life for social equality. The assembly was finally concluded with the dance  performance on a beautiful  song which filled the ambience with a feeling of patriotism for our country. 

The day ended with a thought in everybody’s mind that cleanliness is next to godliness and service to mankind is the first step towards reaching it.
