Students of GIIS Dubai volunteered at the beach clean up hosted by DULSCO, the waste management partner in collaboration with Dubai Municipality at Jumeirah Beach. Twenty student volunteers enthusiastically joined the clean up to raise awareness about responsible waste disposal. The activity focused on encouraging students to be socially responsible and promote ethical values among them.

After the briefing of the DULSCO team, students divided into groups and picked trash on the beach. GIIS Dubai constantly focuses on creating opportunities for children to actively engage and contribute to the well-being of their communities.

Together, with a smile on their face, passionate volunteers pushed through the heat and cleared the waste at the beach. The clean-up transformed into a self-reflecting experience as the students vowed on being mindful about the waste disposal and work towards the conservation of the ecosystem.
