Role play is an important part of child development, as it builds confidence, creativity, communication, physical development and problem solving which helps in children’s social-emotional growth and development. Along with being a fun filled activity, it also allows them to get into character and act out real life roles or fictional performances. It helps to develop and build on children’s esteem helping them to learn who they are.

In February 2019 at GIIS, Dubai an airport was created with baggage checking, immigration, screening and boarding counters. A dummy aero plane was kept with a cockpit and children enjoyed enacting as pilots, co- pilots and crew members. They were encouraged to work collaborative with their peers . They were motivated to express themselves freely.
