To develop the Zoology skills of students, a session on Batrachology- a branch concerned with the study of amphibians was organized at GIIS, Dubai for Grade 1 students. By studying animals students develop a better understanding of how ecosystems sustain.

The in-class activity included students learning the life cycle of frogs. From tadpoles to frogs, children learnt different stages of a frog's growth. Children brought papers, clays, cutouts and pictures to create the life cycle. Learning about the environment and sustainability starts from understanding the importance of each creature in the ecosystem. 

At GIIS, Dubai we encourage students to learn the value of co-existence through different hands-on activities.
