The International Earth Day activities for Kindergarten students at GIIS Dubai revolved around the concept of 3R's - Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Children were taught to reduce water usage while brushing their teeth, switch off lights when not inside the room and avoid wasting paper to prevent deforestation. 

Exciting activities were organized, with children dressing up in green, blue, and brown, the colors of the Earth. They also crowned themselves with headgear depicting 3 R's and visited the Al Boustan area to understand how plantations help protect the planet.

The day's activities catered to the holistic development of the child, tapping into important areas of early years such as art and craft skills, language development, and emotional development. This was an amazing platform that created awareness in the children about the world around them.

By celebrating International Earth Day, the KG I team of Dubai, GIIS empowered young children to protect the environment and fostered a sense of responsibility towards the planet.
