DUBAI, 24 Jan, 2019: Kindergarten students learnt the importance of healthy eating habits as a part of the Kinder-kitchen activities. In this activity, they got an opportunity to prepare their own healthy sandwich. They used sliced cucumbers, carrots, boiled potatoes, cheese slices and pitted black olives. They worked their way through making sandwiches and designing them in different ways and shared ideas with their peers .
It facilitated their learning about nutritional value of healthy food and the art of presentation. It also helped them to develop skills of independence and confidence as they learnt to prepare sandwiches on their own. They enjoyed eating sandwiches with their classmates and discussed about its taste.
