Pioneers in holistic education, Global Indian International School, Dubai, unveiled the prestigious Chandu Borde Cricket Academy in the campus. A Padma Bhushan awardee and the President of Global Schools Foundation,
Mr Chandu Borde was present to inaugurate the academy at the campus in April 2019. 

Mr.Chandu Borde who was the Captain of Indian National Cricket Team inspired the young cricketers in his inaugural address. He emphasized on the fact that ‘Cricket can’t be played overnight’ a player and sportsman needs to constantly work on their practice and confidence. He also fueled their spirits by saying that if their practice is on the right track the school team will definitely find a place in the National team of UAE.

The proceedings were done at the school ground by cutting the ribbon at the Cricket Net Practice area and Mr.Chandu Borde batting the first ball which was bowled by the Snr Director of Global School ME - Mr. Amol Vaidya and was fielded by Principal Mr Ramesh Mudgal.

In Dubai Max Talent cricket academy will be managing the backend set up under the guidance of Mr Chandu Borde. The event came to a close with a friendly match between Max Talent Cricket Academy and the School Cricket team.
