Grade 9 students of GIIS Dubai were introduced to the Business Services class designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the various aspects of business. The class covered a wide range of topics, including the basics of business concepts, marketing, financial management and information technology. The session provided students with an overview of how businesses operate and the importance of various support services in ensuring their smooth functioning.
During the class, students were given various tasks and activities to help them understand the concepts covered in the course. One of the groups created an advertisement for their own brand – Groovy Burger with the slogan "Burgers in a Budget", a catchy advertisement.
Another task assigned to the students was to conduct market research to determine the feasibility of a new business idea. Students were asked to research the market and evaluate the potential demand for the proposed product or service. This exercise allowed students to understand the importance of market research in launching a successful business venture.
Overall, the Business Services class was an excellent opportunity for students to gain a solid understanding of the various aspects of business services. The course provided students with a practical and hands-on approach to learning, allowing them to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios.
