Students across grades at GIIS, Dubai took short excursions in and around Dubai that helped them foster social interaction.

Children of Kindergarten I visited Children’s City park which is UAE’s first educational city. They enjoyed and explored several exhibits and programmes on applied human body sciences, nature centre, Earth and Sciences gallery, a planetarium and got a glimpse into the local and world culture. Grades 1 and 2 and Grades 6 to 8 took a trip to Sharjah’s Arabian Wildlife Center where they explored fascinating wildlife facts including endangered species like the Arabian oryx and the sand cat. The students learned about the animals’ habitats, behaviour and efforts for conservation.

It was a day of fun and adventure for students of Grades 3,4 and 5 who shot hoops, jumped on the trampoline and engaged in freestyle dodgeball at BOUNCEX. The fun-filled field trip helped students improve their social skills, mental well-being and emotional bonding with peers.
