Higher-grade students of GIIS Dubai engaged in different field trips over the month. Children participated in UniExpo organized by Khaleej times, a preparatory workshop conducted by Curtin University and visited The Museum of the Future.
Over 35 universities participated in the two-day education fair hosted by Khaleej Times where students of Grade 11 explored future education and career options. Students got the opportunity to network with admissions representatives, alumni and event partners of famous universities.
The Business Cup Challenge organized by Curtin University is a unique platform where students from different parts of the world share their business ideas. Students of Grade 11 participated in the workshop and shared their business plans keeping UN Sustainable Development Goals sustainability at the center of research. The Museum of the Future visit also helped students to learn about futuristic advancements along with learning more about famous innovators and scientists.
GIIS Dubai inculcates field trips as a part of curriculum benefiting students to come up with innovative concepts. Field trips also help in developing social and interactive skills along with making learning fun for students outside the classrooms. University exposure and workshop participation helped higher-grade students to focus on their careers through a futuristic perspective.
