In a bid to foster leadership skills among early years students, GIIS, Dubai held its first investiture ceremony for junior school and induction of class prefects for the academic year 2023-24. The event celebrated the unveiling of new student leaders and commemorated the heralding of a new dawn for young minds. 

The investiture ceremony commenced with an aura of enthusiasm and excitement at the school auditorium. The day began with Quran recitation, followed by an inspiring address to the new student council by school Principal Antony Koshy emphasising the significance of leadership and responsibilities that come with it.

“Leadership is not confined to any age, but it is rather a mindset. Anybody can become a leader and make a difference. Stand up for what you believe in and remember every voice matters. Let us come together and create a nurturing environment for all to grow.”

The investiture ceremony served as a reminder of GIIS, Dubai’s commitment to nurturing future leaders by providing a platform to develop essential skills to face the challenges of the future.
