To enhance student's interests in learning English, different interesting activities were held throughout the week at GIIS, Dubai. English week at GIIS, Dubai focused on helping students to enhance their language proficiency and encouraged students from different cultures to learn about the history of language.

English week was organized with activities including Reading Day where students engaged in reading books of different genres and Show and Tell activity where students showcased different objects and spoke about them. Children also engaged in Tongue Twisters and learned famous tongue twisters along with participating in Villain Day program where students came dressed up as famous villain characters of English drama and books. 

Developing English literacy is essential to children’s academic success and later life outcomes. GIIS Dubai constantly focuses on various age - appropriate initiatives helping students to develop strong literacy and skills to adapt with international exposure.
