KG I of Dubai GIIS had a wonderful experience while teaching the young minds the 5 important senses. It was amazing to see the children explore their own senses with first-hand experience.

They rang the bell and said ‘’hear it say tring – tring’’

Teacher, I like chocolate,’’ it tastes sweet’’. 

‘’I smell it.’’ They experienced the strong smell of cloves

‘’It is bubbly’’said child as she explored he bubble wrap with her tiny fingers

Kids tested their memories. A game of sense of sight.

The event was co- related with the Kinder Kitchen Activity – Sense of taste.

Children explored their taste buds while tasting various foods like coffee, chocolate, salty crackers and lemon brought from home. It was fun watching them make faces while tasting coffee and lemon. Their faces were filled with expressions.

Both the events were taken to the next level by linking them to the topics Parts of my body and Senses. It was thrilling to watch and observe children come up with their answers during the questioning session. So the events helped the children analyze why, what, how and what if, they reflected on their learnings, experimented, explored and they were able to draw a conclusion.
