A drawing competition was held for primary students. An opportunity to draw a scene from their new year’s celebration was provided to cease the occasion in their memories permanently.

Drawing as an art form benefits in various ways. It improves hand-eye coordination, increases cognitive activities of creative side of the brain, improves memory, awareness of your surrounding sharpens. It is very important to have these developments initiated from the early years. 

As the proverb says a picture says a thousand words, at the end of the competition it was evident that the kids enjoyed New Year celebration and also the drawing competition. GIIS wishes them the same spark and happiness for the rest of the year!
