GIIS Dubai witnessed three Leadership Lecture Series (LLS) in the month of November where different profound personalities shared their inspiring life journeys with students. The LLS on the campus were graced by interactive sessions with Mr. Mylswamy Annadurai, popularly known as Moon Man of India, Ms. Aparna Mantha, (Vice-president of HDFC, Mumbai) and Ms. Maya Desai (Director of IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award Trust).

The session with Mr. Annadurai was associated with the ongoing Qutuhal event on campus. Qutuhal focuses on enhancing the innovation and entrepreneurial skills of students through various competitions. 

As part of the session, a panel discussion was organized in which selected students interacted with Mr. Annadurai. Students asked questions including his career experiences and journey, his thoughts on rocketry, space science and ISRO. The honorable guest was impressed with the technology-enriched learning approach followed at GIIS Abu Dhabi and appreciated the school community for the same.

LLS with Ms. Mantha was a virtual event where students of Grade 11 asked questions based on financial literacy, savings, credit scores and educational loans. The students were eager to know how banks function on a daily basis including the sanction of educational loans and their recovery. Questions posed by students also dealt with how to improve credit scores as well as the strategies adopted by banks during inflation and global recession.

Leadership Lecture Series with Ms. Desai included sessions where students were given a thoughtful session on how to prepare for their future in this competitive world. 

The Leadership Lecture Series organized at GIIS Dubai provides an exploration of leadership through stories and experiences shared by guest speakers to students. This opportunity provides them with exposure, opportunity and wisdom through real-world experiences shared by industrial leaders across the world.
