A fusion of art and spirituality through Loy Krathong

On this special occasion of Loy Krathong Festival, kindling kids crafted their own Loy Krathong and floated it in the Chao Phraya River with their special prayers.

Loy Krathong occurs on the evening of the full moon of the 12th month in the old Thai lunar calendar.

The precise day of the festival changes each year, while this year, it is on November 8th.

A special assembly is organised, which includes a fashion display and Thai cultural programmes. Students and staff dressed in traditional Thai costumes embellished the cake with colourful fondant.

Managing Trustee Ms, Ajarn Sopa, Principal Ms. Arisara Phromgern and Vice Principal Ms. Sumita Jolly crowned the Nang Noppamas participants. The winners of the contest are Kwan from K1, Khong Kwaun from Grade 1, Manyatha from Grade 2 and Frey from Grade 3.
