As the world is getting better and leaving the horrors of Covid behind, we at GIIS Whitefield also plan to accelerate our progress and facilitate the proper flow of activities at our school. The month of February has been a great one in terms of creating opportunities for our kids to step up and blossom. It incorporated celebrations, events, and exams; a unique but fruitful combination that provided students numerous chances to excel in all the fields.

Annual Day was the highlight of this month. We held Virtual Annual Day for every segment and let our kids leverage their skills and talents to take a step ahead in their journey of becoming great performers, artists, orators, and ultimately global leaders.

CCA Presentations were conducted for the secondary segment where senior students took us on a tour to their Co-Curricular activities and showcased their talents beyond academics. Students from each of the 12 clubs walked us through their year-round club activities and displayed their artwork, performances, and achievements. They also explained how the clubs have helped them indulge in their favourite activities and enhanced collaborations with their peers.

The 9th Pre-Primary Annual Day was held on 19th Feb, 2022 via the virtual platform with the theme- “Nurturing Global Citizens”. Tiny tots from all the grades presented graceful cultural performances and were greatly appreciated by the guests Ms. Divya Madhukar and Ms. Vaishali Borde, who also graced the occasion with their warm words that encouraged the kids and boosted their confidence.

Lastly, the Primary segment held their Annual Day on 26th Feb 2022 with the theme “Sanskriti”- celebrating the Indian cultures, traditions, and heritage.

The month is yet to end and our kids are already set to wow everyone with their skills and talents at the Global Little Stars’22 event. This mega event will help them unlock their best abilities and bring them closer to their dreams. I urge you all to register your kids for this one-of-a-kind event as it is the perfect stage for kids to gain confidence as performers.

With the approaching month of March, it’s time for the Annual Examination. Exams are not just for kids but a test for us, the parents too. I hope you are taking good care of your child and carrying out practices to relieve them from stress. Prioritize their health and teach them the importance of time management. These lessons will help them navigate through many exams like this in the future. I wish you and the kids all the best.
