“Pursuit of happiness is not a chase but a realization.” 

GIIS Whitefield welcomed the month of July with great gaiety and joy as our pre-primary tiny tots celebrated the first week of this beautiful month as- “Hunt for Happiness Week”. During this weeklong activity, kids were taught the lesson of celebrating the little joys in life in order to attain happiness in any situation.

Being happy is the ultimate goal of life. It takes a lot of introspection to learn the art of appreciating every little moment and overcoming the continuous emotional strife within oneself that might give an illusion of despair sometimes. The main idea behind celebrating Happiness week with Kindergartners was to introduce them to the intertwined relationship between happiness, mental & physical health, and spiritual wellness and encourage them to develop a positive attitude towards life as they grow up.

During this week, our tiny munchkins participated in a myriad of fun activities. Right from laughter yoga, picnic, and movie break to art & craft activities and exciting games, the kids were engaged in different exercises that helped them bond with their peers and understand the essence of little joys.

Hunt for Happiness week was a successful event and helped our tiny tots settle in the physical school set up in a better way. Special thanks and appreciation goes to our pre-primary teachers and coordinator ma’am- Ms. Preetha D’Mello, who planned and executed the wonderful activities seamlessly and have been making constant efforts to ensure that kids enjoy every bit of their educational journey in campus. With such an incredible start to the academic year, our kiddos have a lot to learn and look forward to in the upcoming months.
