GIIS Whitefield students wow everyone with their stunning performances on Annual Day

Annual Day is one of the most awaited times of the year at GIIS Whitefield as the students take center stage and blow everyone’s mind away with their beautiful performances. From students and teachers to even the parents, all are busy making this day as memorable as possible and bringing something unique to the event that makes this occasion worth the wait of a year. Well, this year’s celebration was no exception to the set bar of fun, joy, and festivity and our little stars made sure that the audience remember this eventful day for years to come.

Virtual Annual Day celebrations were extra special to us with enthusiasm and happiness quadrupled as we are celebrating 20 years of GSF this year as well. Students from Pre-Primary and Primary segments observed the Annual day on different dates through the zoom platform which only gave them more opportunities to showcase their talents.

Pre-Primary Annual Day was conducted on 19th Feb, 2022 with the theme- “Nurturing Global Citizens”. Tiny tots from all the pre-primary grades presented graceful cultural performances that were highly appreciated by the audience, making it impossible for them to their take their eyes off of the screen until the very end of the show. Our beloved guests Ms. Divya Madhukar and Ms. Vaishali Borde graced the occasion with their warm words that encouraged the kids to give their best and boosted their confidence.

With the theme “Sanskriti”, Annual Day celebration of the Primary segment was no less than a festival! Celebrating the myriad of cultures of India, kids presented a gala event bringing out the essence of various traditions and rituals of different parts of our country that grabbed our attention and made us feel proud of our diversity and heritage.

From dancing, skits, singing, and fancy dress programs, Primary Annual Day had all the elements that left its imprints on the audience’s minds. With continuous clapping and cheering our young performers, our hands might be tired but our hearts still wanted the show to go on endlessly! The fervor and zeal infused in us by the little stars could easily be fathomed through the string of comments left by the viewers that were all about praises and appreciation.
