With the various awards and recognitions over the years, the mark of quality for GIIS Whitefield has been always on the apex of every process. We have believed in the principle of rendering quality in education every time.

It is special news of recognition this time. We have been conferred with the most coveted award, known as the OSCARS of Quality and it is probably the biggest milestone to spearhead the affluence of awards for our school. 

GIIS Whitefield has WON the most prestigious IMC RBNQA award for the year 2020 for delivering impeccable quality and excellence in the Education category.

Indian Merchants Chamber Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Awards are known to be one amongst the most prestigious awards in the Quality Fraternity in India. Experts say that the criteria for the awards are on similar lines as the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Model of the USA.

Our IMC Journey of Excellence in Quality

The journey of success in pursuit of the internationally acclaimed excellence award brings together the efforts of a remarkable team at GIIS Whitefield. It is known to all that teamwork is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results and chisel their hidden skills with new learning and improvement. 

This award is indeed a very remarkable milestone for GIIS Whitefield.  The pursuit for higher levels of quality to qualifying the parameters of the IMC Quality and Excellence Awards started in the year 2017 when we were awarded the IMC Certificate of Commendation, in 2019 we improved and worked on the highlighted areas for improvement, to get on to the next level with the  IMC Performance Excellence Trophy. In the year 2020, when the new way of staying home and imparting education seamlessly and virtually was the trend, our team took up the challenge like a breeze, leaving no stones unturned towards delivering the highest quality of education online. Keeping all the quality quotients in place GIIS Whitefield finally emerged as a Winner of the IMC RBNQA prize for 2020.

In fact, another noteworthy highlight is that GIIS Whitefield is the 1st Campus from India GEO to win this prestigious award joining the ranks of its stalwart sister campuses like GIIS Tokyo and GIIS, Punggol, Singapore.

Quality assured through best leadership and great teamwork

GIIS Whitefield is grateful to Mr. Rathin Khandhadia (Associate Director, GCEE-Global Centre for Education Excellence) for the faith in the team with the perfect overall vision to pave the path to success for GIIS Whitefield. Ms. Preetha D’Mello (Head Mistress, Pre Primary, GIIS Whitefield), the inspiring leader for everyone in GIIS Whitefield and the IMC win is definitely because of her focused vision from 2017 to 2020. In fact, she has been the guiding light all throughout for helping the team understand, learn, grow and bring the best results in every segment – admissions, academics, safety, and security or everything pertaining to augment education with excellence in the campus. Mr. Mihir Virendra Gosalia (Manager, Quality-GCEE), known for his unerring eye for details in the area of auditing quality standards, has been a true mentor to guide each and every team member, helping with prompt and right solutions. Much gratitude to Mr. Ashwani Kumar Saxena (Principal, GIIS Whitefield) for extending his continuous support and motivation to team members for being part of this noteworthy achievement of the school. The Academic Coordinators – Ms. Jeelu Mary Varghese and Ms. J Anuradha, the teachers, and the staff deserve a round-of-applause for their excellent contribution and amazing teamwork that has brought our school this remarkable award, for imparting holistic education with the highest degree of quality, time and again.
