This summer, GIIS Whitefield hosted a month-long summer camp for both GIIS and non-GIIS students. The camp offered a wide range of activities for pre-primary and grade 1-12 students. The activities  included art and crafts, music and dance, storytelling, outdoor play, indoor activities, and STEM-robotics.

For pre-primary students, the camp provided a fun and creative environment where kids could explore their imagination through activities such as drawing, painting, origami, stick puppets, songs, rhymes, hip-hop, contemporary dance, puppet shows, pretend play, free play, and structured games.

Grade 1-12 students had the opportunity to engage in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including cricket, basketball, tennis, football, skating, table tennis, badminton, art and crafts, and music (keyboard). The STEM-robotics program was also a popular choice among students, giving them the chance to learn more about the exciting field of robotics.

At the end of the summer camp, all students received a certificate of successful completion, recognizing their hard work and dedication throughout the program. The summer camp was a huge success, with students from both GIIS and non-GIIS schools coming together to make new friends, learn new skills, and have a great time.

Parents were delighted with the results of the summer camp, commenting on the positive impact it had on their children. Many noted how much their kids had grown in confidence, creativity, and teamwork skills. The summer camp provided a safe and nurturing environment for kids to learn, explore, and have fun.
