Dear Parents,
November has been an exciting and rewarding month at GIIS Whitefield, filled with numerous achievements and community engagements that highlight the hard work and dedication of our students.
The month started with a significant recognition from The Times of India, where our Whitefield campus was named among the Top 5 schools in Bangalore. This accolade was a proud moment for our entire school community and a testimony to the excellence we continually strive for.
Here’s a quick look at the key activities and achievements that defined November:
We celebrated Children's Day with enthusiasm, fostering reflection and appreciation for the joy children bring into our lives.
A mini Canada University Education Fair was organised to guide our students in selecting suitable universities for their higher education.
The pre-primary segment held a special assembly for KG1 students and parents on the theme “Kindness Matters”, emphasising the importance of compassion and empathy. The assembly featured a variety of performances, all highlighting how acts of kindness can make a positive difference in school, at home, and in the community.
Our students continue to shine across various fields, and we are proud to share the following achievements:
Idika Bhatt from Class 7 earned the Silver Award in the National Open Water Championship.
Shubh Chowdhari from Grade 10 achieved the remarkable feat of securing 3rd place in the world at the FEI Jumping Children's Classics 2024.
Nine of our students clinched prizes at GEMPAK VEGANZA, demonstrating their exceptional talent and hard work.
Our Class XI students also excelled at the IGNITE ’24 Annual Inter-School Competitions, held at Greenwood High.
As we look ahead to December, we are excited for the Annual Sports Day, Global Little Star, and the Winter Carnival, all of which promise to be wonderful celebrations of talent and community spirit. These events will provide a platform for students to showcase their skills, creativity, and teamwork. We look forward to making these moments truly memorable.
Warm Regards,
Manoj Kumar Tiwari
