There are so many interesting activity-based learning that focuses on 9GEMS holistic teaching methodology practised at GIIS. Students of Grade 1 organized a role play in Kannada for the lesson "Abbas Hannina Angadi" where the father and mother visited a fruit shop. This was a smart learning technique through which students learnt the names of different types of fruits and the concepts of buying and selling. They also made a beautiful collage work on the subject EVS for the chapter "different means of transport" and for ENGLISH on the topic "Riddles".

Students of Grade 2 got to explore facts about the Universe, Solar system and Stars by preparing a colourful collage on those papers. All the children enjoyed the full- filled learning activity.

Students of Grade 3 made models of the human organs with intricate details using clay dough. It was an educative and kinaesthetic experience for the students. As they made the models they also learnt about the function of each organ and their importance for a healthy life for the subject SCIENCE - Chapter "The Human Body".?

As part of the educational excursion, all the students of GIIS Bannerghatta visited Janapada Loka that exhibits the historical and cultural heritage of Karnataka. Students were briefed about the art and culture of the State along with its rich heritage. It was an enriching and insightful experience for the students.
