The ocean of learning is vast and deep. It comprises of enriching the mind in the knowledge and also achieving excellence in what students choose to do.

GIIS believes that each child should be encouraged and appreciated when it comes to achieving big milestones in their journey as a student. We are happy to share that three young achievers of GIIS Bannerghatta SMART Campus have walked a mile higher to get recognized and rewarded on merit.

Let’s start with the youngest of the three. Vybhav Srikarthic of Grade 1 achieved the Star Performance title, by scoring 38/40 in the Final Level Crest International Spell bee championship exam conducted in Aug 2020. He received the Star medal, certificate, and gift vouchers worth 1000/- for the same. His passion for spelling words with speed and precision at such an early age is truly commendable. This young lad straddles many roles, from the world of spellings to Abacus - he nailed a perfect score of 100%, in the final written and oral exam of AVAS Abacus National Level championship conducted in August 2020. He received a gold medal and certificate for the same. His parents are so proud of him and they always motivate him in his chosen field. They strongly believe that talent when nurtured at a young age can do wonders in enhancing one’s personality.

The next deserved GIIS stars are the brother-sister duo Akash and Megha Nair of Grade 3 and Grade 5 respectively, who have brought more glory to the school. Akash has successfully completed INT-C4 with Whitehat Jr as an early pioneer, he has made steady progress in coding and improved by leaps and bounds. Akash has scored 81 percentile overall, which has put him among the top scorers who fall under the category of 19 percent globally on this Whitehat Jr platform. Akash has shown excellent results in a wide range of parameters and has gone beyond his capabilities.

Similarly, Megha Nair has successfully completed ADV-C4 with Whitehat Jr. Among the 7 parameters evaluated by Whitehat Jr Education Team, Megha S Nair has shown excellent results and was evaluated on the basis of logic, creativity, coding proficiency, passion, and perseverance, and also her growth mindset. Parents of these siblings have made every effort to make sure their children enjoy what they pursue and are thrilled to see them blossom into confident individuals.
