Dear Parents,

At GIIS Bannerghatta, every month is an adventure filled with learning, creativity, and exciting discoveries! Our students have been actively exploring new concepts, pushing their boundaries, and enjoying hands-on experiences that make education come alive.

Our little GMP explorers stepped into a magical world at Butterfly Park, where they walked through colorful trails, mesmerized by fluttering butterflies. Nature became their classroom as they observed these "flying jewels" up close, making the experience fun and educational!

Our Grade 1A students soared into a world of discovery in their STEM adventure! They built paper gliders, tested their flights, and experimented with aerodynamics. They also created paper-cup telephones, discovering how sound travels through vibrations. Watching their curiosity grow with each experiment was a joy! The wonders of science continued as our Grade 2 students dived into an exciting activity, creating puppets from recycled materials and bringing their favorite stories to life. Through their puppet shows, they learned about storytelling, creativity, and the importance of recycling—a beautiful blend of fun and sustainability!

In the STEM Lab, students explored how the Earth’s orbit around the Sun creates the four seasons. Through hands-on activities, they visualized how the Earth’s tilt affects daylight and climate, making science a truly interactive experience.

Our Black & White Day was extra special as we welcomed esteemed officers from the Hulimavu Traffic Police Team. With engaging demonstrations, they taught our GMP kids about traffic rules in a simple and fun way. The session ended with a lively traffic signal poem, making safety an enjoyable lesson for all! This month, we also witnessed the extraordinary talents of our parent community at the Parent Talent Competition! Parents took center stage, impressing everyone with mime performances, soulful singing, stand-up comedy, energetic dance, and even live cooking demonstrations. It was a heartwarming event that celebrated creativity, passion, and the strong bond between parents and our school.

And finally, a big congratulations to our young karate champs who earned their new karate belts! Their dedication, discipline, and hard work truly paid off, and we couldn't be prouder.
