Dear Parents,

The month of June brought laughter and joy galore at GIIS Bannerghatta. Being known as a time of the year when the energy integrates toward unity and compassion and results in growth, this month marked many joyous events at our school and offered our kids plenty of opportunities to thrive.

Starting with the World Environment Day celebration, our students along with teachers and staff participated in planting activities around the campus and took a step towards environment conservation. On this occasion, they were also educated about the necessity of restoring the environment and how their small steps can lead to greener, safer, and sustainable surroundings for all.

In today's busy life, yoga has become a routine practice for millions of people around the world to attain physical and mental wellness. On this International Yoga Day, our students performed many asanas and pranayama on the beautiful green campus of the school and experienced yoga's holistic healing powers. We were delighted to see how excited our children were to perform yoga early in the morning and their eagerness to understand the health benefits of this ancient discipline filled us with pride and contentment.

 GIIS Bannerghatta organized a special event on the occasion of Father’s Day to celebrate the beautiful relationship between a father and his child and also appreciate the contributions of fathers in our lives. Our Pre-primary parents were invited to the campus to celebrate this lovely occurrence with their tiny tots in the most fun and creative way. I'm sure they had an amazing time with the kids and were able to spend some quality time with them. I extend my gratitude to all the parents who graced this special event with their lovely presence and made it a memorable one for all of us.

Overall, June set the right tone for this academic year with its engaging and thrilling activities. With such a great start, we can’t wait to unfold the surprises that await us in the months to come.
