These lines are absolutely true for our chess superstar – Nivaan Trisal of grade 1. Global Indian International School (GIIS), Bannerghatta is proud to share with you all that Nivaan has showcased exceptional performance in the GSF Online Chess Tournament organized by GIIS Noida in collaboration with the UP-Sports Chess Association (UPSCA) & All India Chess Federation (AICF) and secured 4th position out of all the participants from GIIS campuses across the world.

Nivaan is a brilliant student and has immense love for mathematics. At such a young age, he has not only mastered addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of 5-digit numbers, but also by hearted 35 math multiplication tables. Calculating numbers and solving mathematical problems seem to come naturally to him and he is always the first one to answer any question asked in the class. Furthermore, he is also interested in reading, writing, and exploring the world and knows the capitals of almost 70 countries.

It might come off as a surprise for many to know that the little mastermind started playing chess only a few months back and have already secured this amazing milestone. Encouraged by all the appreciation, Nivaan plans to train in chess and know the knack of the game in depth.

Talking about this achievement, his mother says, “Nivaan is always excited about learning. From academics and sports to music and art, he loves to explore any new field introduced to him and puts in his best efforts to achieve success. We would want to thank his teachers and the entire GIIS Bannerghatta family for always supporting him in his endeavours and encouraging him to unravel his talents……”
