Rishit Singh wins 1500m at Khel MahaKumbh, Advances to State-level Tournament

Athletics is not just about speed and endurance, it is a demonstration to determination, perseverance and sheer willpower. At GIIS Ahmedabad, we believe in fostering a spirit of excellence and resilience in our students. This belief was brilliantly exemplified by our young athlete, Rishit Singh, who clinched 1st position in the 1500m race at the district-level Khel MahaKumbh competition, With this remarkable achievement, Rishit has secured his spot in the upcoming state-level competition.

Expressing his excitement, Rishit Singh said, “This victory is a result of months of rigorous training and unwavering support from my coaches. I am grateful to my school, mentors and family members for believing in me. I am looking forward to representing my school and giving my best at the state level.”

The role of dedicated coaching and disciplined training cannot be overstated in the journey of a successful athlete. Our esteemed Athletics coaches, Mr. Narendra and Mr. Lakhman have played a pivotal role in guiding and preparing Rishit for this feat. Their relentless efforts and strategic coaching methods have enabled our athletes to push their limits and reach new heights.
