Dear Parents, Students and GIIS Ahmedabad Family,

As we step into 2025 with renewed energy and enthusiasm, I take immense pride in celebrating the incredible milestones our students have achieved in the first month. Their relentless dedication, passion, and hard work continue to define GIIS Ahmedabad’s commitment to excellence in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities.

This month, our students showcased their intellectual prowess by securing the 1st position at the Global Student Exchange (GSE) competition on Water Conservation, demonstrating innovative solutions for a sustainable future. Additionally, we successfully hosted the GSE Spell Bee Competition, where Grades 3 to 5 participants from GIIS Hadapsar and Nagpur exhibited remarkable linguistic skills and confidence.

Our school also witnessed the ECA Championship, providing a vibrant platform for students to unleash their talent across various co-curricular activities. The third GIIS Alumni Connect event saw over 60 graduates return to campus, their stories of success inspiring a new generation of students.

Our U-14 Boys Basketball team clinched the Khel MahaKumbh Championship displaying exceptional teamwork. Our athletes excelled in Khel MahaKumbh Athletics, earning accolades and district-level selections. Special mention to Khushi Rawal and Krati Goyal for representing Gujarat at the SGFI National Rugby Tournament, bringing pride to the school.

Beyond competitions, we ensured holistic learning through field trips and picnics for all segments, enriching students with hands-on experience and joy.

As we look ahead, the excitement builds for our GIIS Annual Day, where students will take centre stage to exhibit their artistic and cultural talents. Along with the fun and enjoyment, with the final exams approaching, I encourage students to stay focused and give their best. My heartfelt best wishes to our Grade 10 and 12 students for their CBSE board examinations – may your dedication and perseverance lead you to success.
