Dear Parent,

Education has always been the cornerstone of society, the leading light as mankind made its way in the quest of the unknown. While the art and science of education may have undergone changes over the years, the purpose of education remains to instill in the students a sense of virtue and wisdom, sensitivity to the needs of others, the skills, attitudes, competencies, and the qualities that would help them think and explore, embark on the quest for knowledge and realize the power of action. All of these propel towards an important goal-Excellence. The pursuit of excellence is what drives us at GIIS Ahmedabad.  But as they say, "Success comes to those who work hard and stays with those who don't rest on the laurels of the past", we constantly try to raise our bar of excellence.      

The Academic Year 2021-22 marks a significant step in our efforts to re-define education and give the school a new identity, reflecting the character and concerns of the changing times, an exercise not only in accepting change but leading to change.

Education is a long driven process and investment, not in the life of a child but the nation. Our school is a place where the children are encouraged to say, "I see it, I get it, I can do it". The school offers a happy blend of multifarious initiatives, academic programmes, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, innovations, and skills to prepare the students for the ever-changing world; some of which are reflected in this issue of the newsletter.

As we re-open the school in June after the summer break, we pledge to work for every child, and in the process open new vistas in the area of education.
