Embracing this spirit, students from GIIS Ahmedabad recently showcased their scientific acumen on a global platform, emerging victorious in the Global Student Exchange (GSE) programme hosted by GIIS Higashi Kasai, Tokyo. Their remarkable achievement in the Science Quiz on Photosynthesis shows their dedication, perseverance and passion for learning.

The GSE programme, an initiative to foster cross-cultural learning and academic excellence, allowed young scholars to engage with global peers, exchange knowledge and participate in competitive learning experiences. GIIS Ahmedabad students – Saksham, Meer, Kush, Diyan, Samarth and Adhrit – exhibited their expertise and teamwork as they tackled intricate questions on Photosynthesis, a foundational process that sustains life on Earth.

Guided by their mentor, Ms. Priyanka Poddar, and supported by Ms. Geetika Gunariya, the students demonstrated their in-depth understanding of biological processes, impressing the judges with their analytical thinking and precise answers. Their triumph highlights the school’s commitment to fostering a culture of scientific knowledge and critical thinking among students.
