“Every child is a different kind of flower and altogether makes this world a beautiful garden.” 

GIIS Ahmedabad believes that Childhood is the most beautiful season in one’s life which is full of sunshine, laughter, and love. This year, GIIS Ahmedabad celebrated Children’s Day with immense joy and enthusiasm to make it a memorable day for students. 

The kindergartners were dressed casually and brought their favorite food to share with their friends. To make it a memorable day, a special camel ride was arranged for the tiny tots of GMP to grade 2. The segment-wise teachers planned an array of fun-filled activities, games, and many more attractions.

The students of Grades 1 and 2 were asked to be dressed as their favorite cartoon/comic heroes and speak two lines about them. Also, the fashion ramp walk of the students was conducted. The party theme for Grade 3 to 5 students was Wall of Fame, wherein they were given the option to be dressed as per their role models like family members, internet personalities, historical figures, athletes, or celebrities. They had to speak a few lines about the particular role model during their speak-up activity.

On this children’s day, the teachers performed a special assembly for their students and presented a skit, dance, and singing performance. The students of Grades 6 to 8 enjoyed Children's Day with their teachers and peers during parties, activities, and games in their classes. The senior teachers of Grades 6 to 8 enjoyed becoming a student for a day. They presented the assembly to the students with enthusiasm and zeal. 

On the special occasion of Children's Day, the Principal, Mr. Caesar D’silva said, “Childhood is the most important phase of life which must be cherished. You are the main strength of GIIS Ahmedabad and the teachers always strive for the excellence and betterment of the young generation."
