GIIS Smart Campus, Singapore had organized its first virtual ‘Real World Challenges Convention (RWCC) 2020’’. The theme for the 9th RWCC this year was ‘RISE as Leaders of Tomorrow’. Over 800 hundred students from 14 GIIS campuses across the world participated in 14 events held during the mega Convention. Exciting sessions of pre-judged and on-the-spot contests had kept the students engaged for weeks.

GIIS’ Real World Challenges Convention is a unique platform that encourages students from all GIIS campuses to come together on a common platform to compete and share their knowledge, talent, and skills with everyone. The competition enables students to utilize their full potential, research and find solutions to real-world problems, and present the process in front of a big audience.

The Valedictory programme for RWCC, which was graced by a galaxy of dignitaries from various fields, was held on 2nd December 2020. The programme began with a brief introduction of RWCC 2020 followed by a scintillating dance performance by the students of GIIS Smart Campus Singapore. Inspiring speeches were delivered by Mr. Atul Temurnikar, Chairman and Co-Founder, Global Schools Foundation, and Ms. Melissa Maria, Principal, GIIS Smart Campus, Singapore which highlighted the contribution of student-led Conventions like RWCC.

GIIS Ahmedabad is proud to have bagged the 2nd Runner Up Trophy in this prestigious    Convention with top spots in 10 events.
