In today’s world, where environmental issues are becoming more pressing, taking action to protect the planet is more important than ever. The students of GIIS Ahmedabad took their responsibility seriously, earning recognition for their efforts at the Global Student Exchange (GSE) competition hosted by GIIS Whitefield. Their projects, titled – “Different Countries Adopting Techniques to Save Water and Sustain Natural Resources”, not only highlighted the importance of water conservation but also showcased the innovative ideas that can lead to a more sustainable future.
Under the guidance of Ms. Neha Shrimali and Ms. Neetu Singh, along with the technical support of Ms. Ekta Barot, the winning team comprising of Tanisha Rana, Lakshya Mittal, Vishwa Bhatt, Seeya Pandya, Sai Krishna and Pranamya Atre explored various techniques used by the countries around the world to conserve water. Their research covered a broad span looking at the approaches taken by first-world, second-world, and developing countries in addressing water scarcity and environmental sustainability.
The team’s presentation was not only informative but also inspiring, as they shared creative solutions and emphasised the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing. They demonstrated that effective water management requires collective efforts and that learning from one another can lead to impactful changes.
In conclusion, GIIS Ahmedabad’s success at the GSE competition highlights the dedication and innovation of its students.
