Diwali celebrations at Global Indian International School, Ahmedabad brightened everyone's heart with joy and fervor. The virtual celebration of ‘Diwali Dynamics 2020’ which was celebrated from (2nd to 7th November) brought excitement and zeal to kids. The week-long festivities featured a bunch of fun activities for students.

The week began with a special assembly which was organized by the students to bring forth the value and reason behind celebrating the festival of lights with so much enthusiasm. The students celebrated Diwali in a different way by exhibiting their attributes through various performances and other works of art.

The primary students (Grade 1 & 2) made colorful Diwali greeting cards which bought happiness to them and a smile on their faces. Similarly, students of grades 3 & 4 enjoyed Diwali activities such as Toran making, Diya making & prepared Puja thali for the evening. They were super excited in the session while performing these activities.

The students of grades 5 & 6 prepared vibrant 3D cards and elegant lanterns. The grade 7 & 8 classes prepared Rangoli and Diwali home décor which added color and excitement to the festivity.

As part of the celebrations, the Diwali food fiesta Chefs' activity was also held for GMP & Grade 2 students, where they showcased their talents by making delicious Coconut Ladoo. The other main attraction of the celebration was the special assembly “Diwali ke rang, parivar ke sang” organized by the teachers for parents.

The last day of  'Diwali Dynamics'  saw parents participating enthusiastically in Tambola and Mythology based Quiz which was organized specially for them. The Diwali greetings from Parents and the lovely Diwali decorations shared by the students added a warm touch to the final portrait of celebrations.

The week-long celebration concluded with wonderful words of appreciation from Principal Mr. Caesar D’Silva, who encouraged and advised the students to celebrate Green and Safe Diwali.
