The farewell party for Grade 12 students at GIIS Ahmedabad was a perfect example of this thought, as they stepped into a new chapter of their lives with confidence, memories and joy. Organised by grade 11 students, the farewell was full of Bollywood blockbusters, brimming with glamour, emotions and unforgettable performances.

GIIS Ahmedabad farewell party had everything – from the grand entry of seniors to a dazzling ramp walk, entertaining skits to power-packed dance performances and anchoring dialogues straight out of movies. The event, held under the guidance of Mr. Darshansinh Raol, was a seamless blend of creativity, humour and heartfelt emotions.

The celebrations commenced with an engaging skit portraying the stark contrast between the expectations and reality of college life. The highlight of the skit was a monologue that humorously yet insightfully depicted how dreams of college life often differ from reality.

A lyrical mime dance performance added an extra layer of entertainment, leaving the audience in splits with its hilarious yet captivating enactment. The most awaited segment was the ramp walk, where the Grade 12 boys and girls took centre stage, showcasing their style and confidence.

As the event progressed, the much-anticipated Mr. GIIS, Ms. GIIS and other awards were presented. Mr. GIIS was awarded to Nikhil Kumar while Ms. GIIS was awarded to Anushka Bhatt. Amrit Shiv was awarded the title of Mr. Bollywood while Yashvi was felicitated with Ms. Bollywood. Two new titles Mr. and Ms. Athlete were felicitated to Ayaan Agarwal and Anshika Trivedi, respectively.

These titles added to the celebratory spirit, making the event even more special for the students.

Principal Mr. Caesar D’silva, addressing the outgoing batch, shared his thoughts, “As you embark on this new journey, remember that learning never stops. Challenges and opportunities will go hand in hand, and your success will be determined by your passion, resilience and dedication. We are proud of each one of you and wish you a bright future ahead. Keep making us proud!”

The farewell concluded with heartfelt speeches by Grade 12 students, filled with nostalgia, gratitude and hope. The air was filled with mixed emotions as they bid adieu to their beloved school, juniors and teachers, cherishing the countless memories they had created over the years.

The evening ended on a high note with a DJ party, where students danced their hearts out, celebrating the bonds they had formed and the journey that awaited them. As the curtain fell on their school life, they stepped forward with dreams in their eyes and courage in their hearts ready to take on the world.

With promises to stay connected and carry the GIIS spirit forward, the farewell was not just an event but a celebration of memories, friendships and new beginnings.
