Dear Parent,

It’s time to draw a curtain over the Academic Year 2020-21! When we reflect upon the year gone by, there is a deep sense of fulfillment at the way we were able to successfully accomplish the delicate task of providing education, in both scholastic and co-scholastic areas, to our children despite the pandemic. This has been possible only because of the continuous support and unwavering trust of our parents, the complete involvement and hard work of our students, the visionary approach of the management, and the dedicated and untiring efforts of our teachers. This is what makes GIIS Ahmedabad a force to reckon with!

As we gear up to make a fresh start in the Academic Year 2021-22, there are a lot of good things we wish to carry forward and at the same time, there’s a commitment to do things in a better way than before! There are new possibilities to be explored, new territories to be chartered, new challenges to be faced, and newer triumphs awaiting us.

We wrapped up our session in the month of March 2021 with our Annual Exams. Thereafter, the Annual Progress Report of each child was discussed with the parents during the PTM along with individual Student Improvement Plans. For the first time, we also shared the 9 GEMS Report of each child with the parents.

We have already begun the New Session for Grades 10 and 12 (Batch 2021-22) from March itself, to provide them the extra edge in terms of preparedness.

Our students, parents, and teachers are the biggest ambassadors of the excellent work being done at GIIS. We are happy to have more than 500 new students as part of the GIIS family now, just by word of mouth!  A special Orientation Session was arranged for the parents of the new admission students to familiarize them with the GIIS system and Academic and Co-curricular activities plans.

A special ‘Subject Choices and Career Options’ Webinar was organized for the students of Grade 9 to 12 and their parents of GIIS and other schools of Ahmedabad City, which was a great success.

To celebrate the important milestone of the Kindergarten children as they get ready to take their first steps into the Primary School and provide them a platform to display their skills, a spectacular ‘Virtual Graduation cum Annual Day’ Programme was also organized for our K2 children.

Women’s Day Celebration by the staff gave us an opportunity to express our gratitude for the immense contribution of the women in our lives.

Destinations are endpoints. But journeys are paths of possibilities and learnings, growing and fresh beginnings. At, GIIS Ahmedabad, our journey of excellence continues…
