Students design smart and efficient rockets

4th Interschool Water Rocket Challenge was conducted by Emirates Aviation University in partnership with BOEING at the Emirates Aviation University, Dubai.

The event was to encourage experimentation and innovation in the field of aerodynamics for high school students aged between 16 and 18 years. Aerodynamics is a study of the properties of moving air and the interaction between the air and solid bodies moving through it.

Two teams were participated where they were asked to design and construct a rocket that can achieve the greatest distance from a launch angle of 45 degrees. The students were challenged to think smart and efficient to come up with ideas to build their rocket.
