GIIS Abu Dhabi embraced the spirit of compassion and empathy during Anti-Bullying Week. The week began with an enlightening orientation session led by the school counsellor. Students from Grades 1 to 4 gathered to understand bullying, how to identify it and report.
Students designed anti-bullying wristbands and posters carrying the message of kindness and inclusivity. Posters displayed around the school served as a constant reminder to foster kindness and empathy within the school community. A special documentary screening was a pivotal part of Anti-Bullying Week. The documentary was chosen to offer students a deeper understanding of the impact of bullying
One of the most remarkable aspects of the week was the involvement of the students themselves. Students showed that they were not just passive learners but active participants in creating a positive and inclusive school environment. The week was not just about raising awareness but about fostering a culture of kindness, empathy, and respect.
